Membership is available only to eligible ophthalmologists or categories recognised by OSWB. Submission of an application does not create a right to membership.
Life, PGT, National and International Memberships are available at fees notified by OSWB inclusive of applicable GST. OSWB may revise fees from time to time.
Applications require proposer and seconder approval, scrutiny by the Office, provisional approval by the Executive Committee and ratification by the General Body. Only ratified Life Members possess voting rights. PGT Members may be upgraded upon submission of required documents.
Membership fees are non-refundable. Applicants may be given a reasonable opportunity to rectify deficiencies before a final decision.
Users shall maintain accurate information, protect passwords and promptly notify OSWB of unauthorised use. Sharing credentials is prohibited.
Changes submitted through the portal remain subject to verification and approval.
Registrations for conferences, CMEs, MIDCON, workshops, wet labs and competitions are subject to event-specific rules and are non-transferable.
Payments are processed through authorised gateways. Successful payment generates a receipt. GST invoices may be requested from the office.
Users shall not misuse the website, upload malicious software, infringe copyright, impersonate others, scrape data or interfere with security.
All logos, publications, designs, databases and website content belong to OSWB or respective owners. Reproduction without written permission is prohibited.

Personal data is processed in accordance with the OSWB Privacy Policy.
OSWB may suspend or terminate accounts or memberships for violations of these Terms or misconduct.
OSWB does not guarantee uninterrupted website availability and shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from website use.
OSWB shall not be liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control.
OSWB may amend these Terms by publishing an updated version on its website.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Kolkata shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
