Located in the banks of the Kaljani river, Alipurduar is the gateway to Bhutan and the North Eastern States of India.

Ophthalmological Society of West Bengal took the initiative to reach here and provide service of Retinal Screening for the patients. Our President Dr. Ratish Chandra Paul, Hony. Secretary Dr. Debashis Das, Past President Dr. Monoj Hajra, Chairperson Community Ophthalmology Dr. Sohini Ghosh, and local coordinator Dr. Meghnad Bhowmik were present. Under the able guardianship of Dr. Bhowmik, and Dr. Akashdeep it was possible to do the camp here. Overall, it was a satisfying experience.
