Santalabari is a small beautiful village in the deep core area of Buxa Tiger Reserve (BTR). This village is one of the most popular areas in BTR. This is the best place for nature lovers.

Ophthalmological Society of West Bengal took the initiative to reach to this remote place and provide comprehensive eye screening services. Our President Dr. Ratish Chandra Paul, Hony. Secretary Dr. Debashis Das, Past President Dr. Monoj Hajra, Chairperson Community Ophthalmology Dr. Sohini Ghosh, and local coordinator Dr. Meghnad Bhowmik were present. Under the able guardianship of Dr. Bhowmik, and his team of optometrists it was possible to do the camp here. Overall, it was a satisfying experience.
