Ophthalmological Society of West Bengal in the first time ever presented of Paediatric Ophthalmology Journal Club was organized on 20th Jan 2024 at The Stadel in 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm. This was moderated by Dr Anuradha Chandra and the chaired by Dr Md Yasin and Dr Sourabh Sanyal. The panelists were Dr Lav Kochgaway, Dr Suman Mukherjee, Dr Chandni Chakraborty, Dr Apala Bhattacharya, Dr Asmita Ray, and Dr Smita Ghosh. Three interesting articles were presented by Dr Tanmoy Biswas, Dr Ketaki Subedar Ghosh, and Dr Subhajit Bhattacharya. Dr Tanmoy Biswas spoke on The Role of Primary Intraocular Lens Implantation In the risk of Secondary Glaucoma Following Congenital Cataract Surgery: A Systemic Review and Meta Analysis. Dr Ketaki Subedar Ghosh spoke on Myopia in India: Review Article. Dr Subhajit Bhattacharya spoke on How to Better Treat Patients with Intermittent Exotropia: A Review of Surgical Treatment of Intermittent Exotropia. It was an extremely interactive program and attended by 50 delegates. The program was academic supported by Cipla.
