A comprehensive eye screening camp in collaboration with Himgiri Charitable Trust has been done in Dashadrone area of New Town today. The camp has been inaugurated by renowned philanthropist Dr Subir Choudhury flying in all the way from Dubai. 162 patients have been checked with almost 2 dozen of cataracts, hordes of refractive errors and multitudes of allergic conjunctivitis has been diagnosed throughout the day. Retinal fundus photography has been done for the diabetic patients too.
